Registration includes: Access to all program sessions and to the conference exhibition hall. Catering will be provided for afternoon tea on Thursday 19th, as well as morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st June.

Registration Discounts 

Students receive a 50% discount off the high income conference rate. A student is defined as a holder of a full-time student identification card from a recognised tertiary or secondary educational institution or international student card. Students must be studying full time to qualify for the discounted rate. Please note: A copy of your student identification card must be uploaded during the registration process.

Low & Lower Middle Income Countries receive a 50% discount off the high income conference rate. To be eligible for this rate you must be from a country considered Low Income or Lower-Middle Income Economies by the World Bank. Upper-Middle Income and High-Income Economies are not eligible for this rate. Please click here to view the World Bank website for the latest information on world economy classifications.

Community Organisations receive a 50% discount off the high income conference rate. To be eligible you must be working for a community organisation.

A special conference rate is available for local delegates. To be eligible for the local rate you must be living and working within Thailand.

Media Registration Guidelines 

Accredited journalists may attend the conference free of charge. To apply for media registration you need to:

  • Apply for and receive media accreditation
  • Complete the registration process

Who is eligible for media accreditation?

Representatives from the following media may apply for media credentials:

  • general-circulation newspapers, magazines, or medical publications
  • broadcast news media
  • community newsletters

Please note that individuals, agents or contractors providing coverage for or being sponsored by industry may not register as media.

What does media registration include?

Free registration to the conference which includes conference social functions. Any auxiliary events that delegates are required to pay to attend is to be paid for by media representatives as well.

How to apply?

To be accredited, journalists are required to email conference@ashm.org.au with the following:

  • A letter from their editor, producer, or news director on letterhead with signature OR a copy of the publication’s masthead with the reporter’s name listed;
  • A sample of a recent article or news report;
  • A letter of assignment (for freelance journalists only) on letterhead with signature;

The Conference may request additional materials if needed to establish the appropriateness of a media outlet or journalist for accreditation. Journalists who meet the press criteria outlined above will be accredited on a space-available basis.
